Hi GS folks,

I found this little rubber stopper (I'm guessing that's what it is) on the ground under my bike:

I have a 2004 GS500F California model.  I found it after changing my air filter, oil + oil filter, and inspecting the spark plugs.  Any ideas where this may have fallen off from?

I fiddled around with the carb vent hose a bit while trying to screw in the air filter.  Might it have fallen out of this hose?:

Thanks.

Yeah cali bikes need mirrors,

The F models have the mirrors mounted somewhere besides the handlebars though, but since I have an E I dunno where that is.

I'd be more worried about that penny that fell out of the bike.
