Ok,  So two Moto GP riders are going into a straight away, and one is drafting the other.

The one in front hits the breaks hard and the drafting rider rear ends him.  The drafter strangley get propelled forward but his legs get stuck underneith the handle bars.  I dont know if this can happen but in my dream it did.  Well the drafters bike starts fliping end over end over end over end.  And hes just rag dolling cause his legs have snapped. He finally gets ejected from the bike and is laying on the side of the track screaming in agony.

Then in an attempt to get off the track, away from the other riders, he starts crawling away but then one of his legs was just laying there, and the other one, you could see the broken bone just sticking out of his leg.

I woke up sweating.  That dream scared the Sh1t out of me.  Ive been having very bad motorcycling dream for like the past week

I think with the tragedy that just happened, you've been weighing a lot on yr mind and it's probably a process of mourning for you.  We all hv different ways to do it.  It's hard to tell someone to think of the happy side after everything that has happened but we have to and we live on.

It's just on your mind, dreams are weird like that. I hate when dreams leave me a sweaty panic.

But just for fun lets interpret it!

Quote from: dreammoods.comMotorcycle: To see or ride a motorcycle in your dream, symbolizes your desire for freedom and need for adventure. You may be trying to escape from some situation or some other responsibility in your waking life. A motorcycle is also symbolic of raw sexuality.

To dream that you are speeding on a motorcycle, indicates that you are moving too fast.

Accidents: To dream that you are in an accident, signifies pent up guilt and you are sub-consciously punishing yourself over it.

To dream that a loved one dies in an accident, indicates that something in your own Self that is no longer functional and is "dead". It is also symbolic of your own relationship with that person. Perhaps you need to let go of this relationship.

Accident dreams may also represent your straightforward fears of being an actual, physical accident. You may be simply nervous about getting behind the wheel. This dream may be a clear warning to cautious of approaching vehicles.

Race Track: To see race tracks in your dream, represents life in the fast lane for you. The tracks may be a metaphor for your quest to get ahead in life. Alternatively, you may feel that you are going in circles. Or that you have a set path of thinking and doing things and are unwilling to deviate from it.

Pain: To dream that you are in pain, signifies that you are being too hard on yourself with regards to a situation that was out of your control. It may also be a true reflection of real pain that exists somewhere in your body. Dreams can reveal and warn about health problems. The pain is obvious, the loss of any member here is difficult

To dream that you are inflicting pain to yourself,  indicates that you are experiencing some overwhelming turmoil or problems in your waking life. You are trying to disconnect yourself from your reality by concentrating on the pain that you inflicted to yourself.

Legs: To dream that you legs are wounded or crippled, signifies a lack of balance, autonomy, or independence in your life. You may be unable or unwilling to stand up for yourself. Perhaps you are lacking courage and refuse to make a stand. If your dream that one of your leg is shorter than the other, then it suggests that there is some imbalance in some aspect of your life. You are placing more emphasis and weight on one thing, while ignoring other important aspects that need attention as well.

Broken Bones: To dream of broken bones, signifies that you have discovered or realized that there is a weakness in your plans or in your thinking. Your dream may call for you immediate attention to a particular situation or relationship.

So either you're horny and your girl ain't giving ya any and you're too scared to stand up to her... or...

You desire the freedom and adventure that motorcycling gives you but Rich's accident weighs heavily on you and you are afraid of the same thing happening to you.The rest is kind of self explainatory, however, since you were watching this happen suggests that you are looking on at the boards pain as well.

I have to agree that it was probably brought on by Rich's death.  I personally haven't had any wreck dreams, but it's definitely weighing heavily on my mind.  I was itching to get back from Syracuse so I could ride, but I haven't yet.  Being sick doesn't help, but I just don't have much desire to ride right now....

It's been beautiful out here, normally I'd sneak away for a late afternoon ride, but I haven't since last saturday. I'll get back on, just takes me some time.

I keep finding myself trying to second guess him.  I can see myself in a similar situation, and I can't think of any way to get out of it.  If it's a blind curve, you should take it more slowly and to the outside for better sight distance, but if that fails and someone's in your lane, wtf do you do?  Lowside it with a liberal application of back brake?  Stand it up and try to dodge/stop?  I'd probably choose the lowside because it requires the least thought, but I just don't know....

I had a bad dream a while ago where I found a free motorcycle (gixxer actually) and started riding it home, but it turned into a moped. I think it means that I'm destined to never own a gixxer.

In the book Proficient Motorcycling, the author (David Hough) describes a protective cornering line where one enters a corner very wide (near the center line to enhance your view around the corner) then apexes later, taking you out of the area where a rider coming from the other direction would be if he misjudged it.  I'm not describing this very well, but that's the gist of it.  I need to read that section again and practice it.

Fortunately there aren't many blind corners around here.  Unfortunately, there aren't many fun corners either.
