Hey, quit giving the guy a hard time.  He's an experienced rider, remember?  So experienced that he didn't know what he was getting when he bought the GS.

I didn't start this topic to have my riding skill questioned by the entire site, Nor did i start it to start problems
(I find that people who talk condescendingly on the internet tend to suck at life. Dont worry i won't poiunt out specific names)..

I was interested in intelligent conversation about other bikes that may be more suitable. The avenue of altering the bikes gear ratio is the route i will shortly be taking. I know the 14t front can easily be found, but does anyone know of a larger rear-sprocket that can be purchased for the bike. (Or is changing the back sprocket going to be "Custom.")

Hey this is already TF'd right?

WOW!!!!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!

If you can't pass a super sport on a GS500 either you ride with some incredibly fast people (doubtful, peeps are VERY SLOW) or the bike is not the problem. If you want to pass them without skill or effort, sure go buy an R1, just don't blame the bike. (Reword that until it works right, I'm tired)

No, that's why it's still in the general discussion.  It would have vanished in the Tard Farm.

Oh thats what i get for porking around in random places at like 2 am.

I still think that you shouldn't blame the bike.

BTW if you think that's offensive you should see what I was going to say at first  :icon_mrgreen:
