I was at the moto shop yesterday, when i came across the new Kawi ZX-14 on the showroom floor. I didnt know it existed. So there i sat with my friend making jokes about buying a few of them and starting a race team, or it being Roethlisberger's next bike now that his 'busa is crumpled.  By the way, the exaust cans (dual) are gigantic. actually the whole bike is big.

And I thought that the EX500 was the ugliest bike I've ever seen.   :icon_confused:
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!

It would be a cool bike to have but I think it would be waisted on the road unless you want to do stupid speeds.

The only color that is decent is black, because those hideous "Testarossa" fins are not nearly as visible against a black backdrop.

I saw one and talked to the owner of a black zx14 at our local bike night last night.  They are HUGE wide, long, even when parked next to a busa, they're big.   The owner, who was large him self, says it rides well and is pretty comfortable.  As for the looks, i didn't think it looked to bad.  It was just plain BIG.

I read a review in an English motorcycling magazine a couple months ago, they remarked that Kawi should shoot their exhaust design team.

you know the more I look at them... the Busa and the ZX-14 would be great for SuperSport Tourers.....

I mean, they're nearly useless in the canyons, and where is the fun in a straight line?

Useless in the canyons? They handle really well, believe it or not. I've seen a few out on the track before as well.

well, okay, let me rephrase my statement.

Everytime I've seen a Busa in canyons, they don't corner as well as the smaller supersport bikes.

Actually the Busa still beat it out in the quarter because the ZX-14 was difficult to launch, so they say.
