Bandit 600... your thoughts

Hey guys... I'm looking at picking up a 2001 bandit 600  Any thoughts on the bike and how it handles.... power... feel...

most people dont bother with the 600 since the 1200 can be had for so little more. good standard bike. decent on the track but for clearance issues to pegs adn exhaust can.

I rode the 2005 Bandit 650.  Liked it a lot.  Nice upright riding position.  4 cylinder whine to the engine.  Like the GS, it's a design that has remained unchanged for many years (i.e. proven).

Nice on insurance here.  I'd get hosed insuring the 1200.

A guy i ride with has the 1200 and he rides the shaZam! out of it. He really likes it although hes buying a busa soon.

Anyone I've know with Bandits is in love with them. A modern UJM but just a bike that seems to grow with the rider and one that has a lot of hop up parts for it.
