I am going to sell my 95 500E soon. I bought the VH full system but didnt like it so I took it off... Should I sell it on the bike or would I get more by selling it separate w/ the K&N, Dyno kit and V&H? What would you guys pay for a VH full system, new Dyno Jet 1&3 Kit and KN Lunch box?

By the way.. I am thinking of asking $1,700 - 1,800 for the 95.. AWESOME condition.. w/ 2,800 MILES !!! 89 clipons, spare set of unused drag bars.. dual buel conversion, new short signals, R1 Tail light and all the original parts I took off (lights, signals, bars)..  :dunno_white:

I think things like an exhaust would make it sell quicker not sell for more.  just depends if you have time to wait and you want the extra money then sell separate but if you want to get it gone quick and could spare the few extra dollars then sell together.

If you can, put the bike back to stock and sell all the extras. Most people are not going to pay extra for aftermarket parts that are on the bike, because it was customized for you, not for them.

with out  then offer to the buyer of bike after bike sells or sell it here as i understand a bike is worth more is stock form plus the buyer usauly prefers unmodified because they want it eather stock or want to have it done themselves a feeling of security i guess my wife works a a honda suzuki dealer and they give more for stock  the more its modified the less they give usauly

I see the GS500 as a utilitarian learner's bike, not some soul-fulfilling extension of my.. girlfriend.  So as long as those mods were done properly, I might pay a bit more for a bike with them.  I wouldn't add $500 to the price for them, but I'd be willing to toss a couple hundred more out.

Out of curiosity, why did you not like the V&H exhaust?
