Sweet bike shop near where I live in Chicago, @ 19th/Western.  Motoworks.  They mostly deal with old BMWs and Triumphs.  They have this storeroom in the back filled with a ton of old bikes... I took a minute from crying over my recently spilled GS to document with my camera phone.  Thought I'd share.

Some of the bikes they're working on:

Storeroom:

An old sidecar beemer:

A couple old Nazi BMWs with sidecars, one with the MG42 still mounted (it has the chamber removed since machine guns are illegal, but I'm told it would work):

Beemer row:

Johnny's SVs:

A BMW, a BSA, and an Italian bike I don't know (Benelli or something?):

A Guzzi in for a tuneup I guess:

Another SV:

Changes all the time... I saw these guys rebuild a 50's Ural from scratch.  All the local BMW owners come here... last week there were a couple grizzly old guys getting their bikes rebuilt during a tour around the world... you should have seen their gigantic saddlebags.  In the winter the storeroom is even better, when there's a bunch of antique metal all over the place.  And there are always one or two sleek race bikes up on the stands with their engines getting overhauled.  Like being in a candy store.

Best thing, they're really helpful with noobs like me.  Very enthusiastic and helpful.
