Are you going to observe "Ride to Work Day"?

Yes, I'm making a special point of it. Solidarity!
Never heard of this, don't care at all.
I'll ride in on Wednesday if the weather forecast is good.
Riding and work don't mix, I don't think my insurance covers it.
I always ride to work, doesn't make any difference.

I worked night shift last night. Rode to work, then rode home. I work again tonight, and I'll ride there too.

Yay bikes.

Rode to work this morning, took the wife's bike, was going to ask but she was sleeping and I didn't want to wake her.
Morning and afternoon comute has actually gotten better with the higher gas prices.  Used to take 45 to 1 hr to get to work and the ride home was about the same.  Now I'm makeing 20 to 30 min's. in both the morning and afternoon.

It didn't seem like the word got out about "Ride To Work Day." It seemed like i saw less bikes on the way to work this morning than usual. And i was so excited about waving the whole way to work...

Even though I'm still on vacation, I just got done riding my bike to work anyways.(1-1/2 hours round trip) I didn't go inside though, probably would have just pee-oed everyone, and I want to keep my ride pleasant which it was. Hope everybody else's rides today were the same.
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!

That's how it was here too, though it was probably due to the forcast for severe thunderstorms with wind and hail.  I strongly considered not riding, but I checked the radar and figured the storms would hit after I got to work, which they did.  The GS is parked safely in a ramp next to the few others who fear no weather.  Now I'm hoping no more storms develope for the ride home, but If they do I've got my rain gear and/or my bus pass to cover me

It's really too bad though, I was looking forward to seeing all the bikes out

I rode...  And so did all the usual suspects...

Doesn't seem any different that usual. :dunno_white:

I had to visit one of the plants today, so took the GS.  Pretty cool to be on the clock while riding, about 4 hours worth.  Also will get a nice mileage check!  Sweet!

Once I got back to the office though, I was the only bike, as usual....
GS500F in BLUE because that's the COOLEST color!

Not sure how many people here are on the "official" Ride To Work, Inc mailing list.  I got this yesterday afternoon from them (favorite part bolded).  I have no idea where they're talking about.  Even the local shop had less bikes out front yesterday.  Oh well - at least I/we rode  8)

"Today, hundreds of thousands of motorcycles and scooters will descend on workplaces across the country as part of Ride to Work Day, a popular annual commuting event for riders. Ride to Work Day has grown to include hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists worldwide who believe that riding to work en masse on a single, focused day will demonstrate the positive social, environmental and economic impact of motorcycles and scooters. The event is promoted by many motorcycling groups and organizations, and is led by Ride To Work, a non-profit advocacy effort.
Participation in the yearly demonstration is estimated to triple the number of riders on the road and save tens of thousands of gallons of gasoline. Riders say adding more motorcycles and scooters to the daily commute helps make urban parking easier and traffic flow better. "For many people, riding is a socially responsible form of mobility that saves energy, helps the environment and provides a broad range of other public benefits," stated Andy Goldfine, the organizer."

I did notice more scooters ... but that's probably gas price related, not ride to work ....
