How difficult would it be to change the front gear on a gs500f? Would I need to take a link out of the chain to put a 14 tooth gear on? :dunno_white:

Wow. Do a search for 14t or 14 t with the author as AlphaFire X5

.. it answers everything.

Shortly... it's easy, less than 20 mins to do, no, you don't need a new chain, unless yours is old, worn out, stretched, and already maxed out on the adjusters. But seriously.. a 30 second search would have told you that. And saved my lazy ass the trouble of replying. :laugh:
