Dave came in last night with approximately 1700lb. of gear strapped to the back of the bike.  And I promptly ran it up to Shoreline to pick up my GSXR's exhaust.  The '91 wants to say that it is sick and tired of heavy things and wants to carry only light loads from here on out.  But it has to carry Dave for the rest of today.  We're negotiating on that score.  I promised it a nice gasket replacement and valve adjustment if it would be good for the rest of the day, and possibly a paint job for continued good behavior.

I never thought you left the tribe. Others may have doubted, but not me.  ;)

You can have the beer that Dave left in the fridge.

My errand is piddling in comparison.

It was lowered at some point in the past.  That'd be fine, but the forks have about 3/4" of travel.  I'll see whazzup with that.  It's actually OK for me, though - I only bottomed out on big bumps.  It sounds like there's an exhaust leak, and there's certainly an oil leak from the valve cover.  That might be the source of the odd smell.  I'm just going to pull it apart, check the valves, replace gaskets, and, since they're so cheap, replace the jets.  Put something on the centerstand that holds it off of the chain better than my heel does.  Maybe repaint it.  I dunno why the F Suzuki thought white wheels were ever a good idea.

The Buddha

OK You have been had ... Not by the bike or anything ... but that's not Davipu ... also ... he left beer in the fridge ... as in ... not drunk beer ... Yea ... Its an imposter ... not davipu ...
Cool.

Yeah, I was going to ask him if he was feeling OK... then I realized that he would be drinking more if he weren't.   :P

Yeah, he's to cheery in the picture to be Davipu.
