Need Needle Help!

Can someone tell me where exactly the washers go on an 01+ needle? i searched, and found two places that said to put it under the clip. Does that mean between the e-clip and the white spacer guy? Here's a helpful visual aid. i'm trying to do this this morning...

Yes.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
