I understand if you get annoyed with people asking stuff in the forum witout searching first- I get that feeling too... just keep in mind that you; yes you annguyen were a huge squid too (not too long ago). last I heard you wanted to sell your bike to get a nice and fast R6 because the GS isnt fast enough or isn't a real sportbike or something dumb like that. then you crash  are fixing it up. I'm sorry to pick on you, but it's just one example. everybody goes through it. believe me, I have too; I'm just glad I moved back to MA where I was actually forced to wear a helmet and be responsible; since then I have completly turned around. I hope after you fix up your GS that you will keep it and learn how to milk it for all it's worth. that would be a very respectable decision; and one you wont regret.
a great thing about this forum is that it knocks some sense into those squids' heads. lets keep doing that rather than give them crap and turn them away for asking dumb questions. we will always get those questions....

Yes I wanted a new bike, but I did change my mind BEFORE I hit that pothole.  I was gonna give it another year or two (mainly cause it was still fun to ride).  Then the pothole incident happened, and because I'm putting money into her for repairs, I'm gonna have to keep it for another year...  Maybe two.

Besides...  What's wrong with wanting a bigger bike???  I'm too lazy to F*CKING SEARCH right now, but I remember a thread about everyone's "DREAM BIKE" or something like that.  I don't remember a single f*cking person wanting a 500cc or lower.

You wanna know the truth???  I WELCOME THE QUESTIONS EASILY ANSWERED BY A SIMPLE SEARCH.  It just makes me sound smarter when I'm the first to post something useful.  In reality, I know diddly-squat about most things.

I modded my bike for looks ( rim tape, intergrated break lights and cutting the fender off )
I have gone over 100+ ( well my speedo showed over 100
My gear matches my bike except for the helmet
I removed the center stand so I could lean the bike further
And I like corning faster than I should

no need to get defensive about the R6 thing. the point was simply that everyone goes through these phases. right after i got my GS I wanted a 1000, then a 750, then a 600, now I'm very happy and will be for a long time because I've found new ways to ride it. I'm finding out every day that I STILL have much to learn. new riders will come on this board all the time, you just have to help educate them. even the most experienced GSers have a lot to learn, but they help educate each other....

geez even having this squid debate makes us all squids... lets turn the conversation into why some riders dont wave to us and make it even worse...

LOL guess I kicked my self in the a$$ on that one.  The older Koreans that have accents still have a hard time with my name ( my mom still does it ).  Growing up my friends used to ask who's Debbie.  Niceguy when you get here let me know, wife and I would like to go riding with you.

-It got so humid here I broke down & wore a tee-shirt the other day. I have since ordered a mesh fieldsheer jacket... which is probably USELESS in a crash but makes me feel a little better....
