thats a though one i really like ps2 but it seems like x box has better games.... but since ur to cheap to but a 360 lol...jk i would go with the ps2..

ps2 has way better games, unless the only game you ever plan on playing is HALO 2.  thats all the XBOX is good for.

also,, PS3 is coming out.  and we all know that the controller is way better


f xbox and all of those who seem to think it helps with your aiming skills in the "real world".  trust me, you dont want to know.

Most of my friends have the regular Xbox.. I have the 360...


No real difference... I say get the plain old Xbox ... play some Halo and TEAR SOME shaZam! UP!

Definatly the xbox....much more dependable....ps2 always crap out sooner...(I work at Eb games and we constantly are taking in broken ps2....as for the ps3....500 for the core 600 for the premium...I dont think so not to mention they are only releasing 2 million world wide...1 million us...try to get your hands on one now...also blue ray, yes it is great but a blue ray dvd player...1000...so I dont think many game companies are in  a hurry to switch over to blue ray b/c the develpment will cost way too much...and they are making there games come with a cd key (like on the pc) you have to put in to play...I am an xbox person but if you are looking for something new and pure entertainment without a high cost wait for the wii....you will look like a tard playing most the games but who cares, it is going to be mad fun.....my input

i want a 360 however im soo into pc gaming right now, i couldnt hardly pick up  a console atm. bsides im a self described mmo junkie, sure xbarge has those too, but i think the pc mmos are far better theyre all nice imho, but i just like pc stuff better

For you list ps2 much more games.  Besides when your do upgrade to the ps3 all your games will still work.

Get an XBox, put a modchip and a big ass hard drive in it, and install some quality underground software and you'll have one of the greatest multimedia toys ever invented by man.  It's kinda like a multimedia PC on crack...

First off, you can copy XBox games to the hard drive and play them whenever without the disk.  Makes life a lot easier.
Better yet, you can put movies and TV shows in almost any format on the XBox and be able to play them whenever.
Best of all, there are NES, SNES, Sega, and probably other emulators out there that work great and let you play all your old favorites which are WAY better than the crap they make today
You can also put your music on it, or stream it from your PC, and play it through a receiver.  The Xbox has digital audio abilities, so it makes for a nice sound source.

Check out here for everything you ever needed to know.  There are all sorts of great tutorials and what not around there that will make the whole thing super easy.   If you like this idea I can point you towards more specifically what you need to do.

I did this to my XBox a couple year ago, and it honestly is one of my favorite toys.  Everytime there is a gathering or get together, it comes out for games, musics, movies, whatever.

Ha Ha, funny you bring up modded xboxes...if you check out www.smartxx.com and search seaheifer in the forum....I am there
modded xbox with two 300gb hard drives...I have movies and music on one hard drive and games on the other...all the old system emulators as well has linux...so when I take it places I still have a computer with the interent...it is great

We have Xbox, ps2, and 360.  I say go with xbox.  Same games that cross platform (ps2 and xbox) are faster on xbox.  The graphic on 360 can be amazing, but as my son says" game play is way more important than graphics alone"

see with a pc if videocard crashed  you can get a new and hopefully better one processor same thing, plus you can mod tyhe games as well, easier to do than with consoles, i like the consoles but i like my pc better atm

Dude 360 is a great videogame system. If you ever have the extra cash, i would recommend you get one if you are into first person shooters. All of the fps are pretty good. I play Call of Duty 2 almost exclusively. Xbox Live is da bomb. Downloading demos is great and teh little arcade gets nostalgic.
