what folks will fit the gs500f

hi im getting sick of this single disc crap and i want a 2 disc setup so what folks with fit on the gs500f and what are they like

Probably the easiest & cheapest setup would be a braided steel brake line, better pads & disc.

Maybe someone has a setup off another bike thats almost a bolt on mod.

One of my next mods is going to be a different disc & pads to go with my brake line.

i got kevlar pads on at the moment there not that much better and twin discs look kool

Katana is the easiest. Either modify the stock stem or swap the stem from the GS. Look in the FAQ for my write-up on this. I have not added the swapping stem part to it yet. GSXR's need a little more modification. I had the stock stem turned to fit the GS. Basically any f/e can be made to fit. It all depends on how much time, money, and resources you have.

ok so a katana is a gsx-r600 or a 600 bandit arnt the folks alot shorter on them bikes

no. A Katana is a GSX600... A GSXR600 is a completly different bike.

I can tell you of a very simple mod` that will solve all your issues relating to speed, handling, power, performance, tyre choice, braking etc etc.
Just follow these 2 simple steps.

1 Remove the license plate from your GS500F.
2 Take the plate and to it fit 1 of brand new GSX-R600 in the colour of your choice.

You will notice an immediate improvement in all areas mentioned above.

This thread makes sooo much more sense when when you insert the word fork instead of folk.  Thanks arronstj.

Most folks fit a GS pretty well ... too short ... like under 4 ft 8 or super tall, like over 6 ft 3 look a bit odd ...
