i had the carbs off my bike 2 weeks back for a cleaning and rejet. Well, i had the jetting off...and will be correcting that this weekend. Today, i noticed that there is some stuff that looks like grimy honey on the outside of my float bowls. Does that mean that i need to replace the float bowl gaskets (i'm going to the dealer on my way from work)? Any idea what that would be? It doesn't make sense to me...it's thicker and sticker than gas...

You cant drink all day if you dont start first thing in the morning

I wish my lawn was emo, so it would cut itself.

Thanks for the responses. i guess i wasn't so much wondering how to clean it, as much as wondering what it was. i'll have the carbs off tomorrow, so cleaning it will be a easy. i was just wondering if it was indicative of needing new float bowl gaskets...or something like that.
