all i ask man is keep them wheels pavement down . i get so sick of hearing the new guys getting these big liter bikes and going down ..  there was a guy here (central texas) use to ride a dirt bike bla bla ( so did i but i know what i was getting my self in to when it came to sports bikes i did not just jump on it and go ball's to the wall i took my time and worked my way up ) well me and a few guys i ride with here try and seek out ppl who think there good and take them down maxdale road ( pretty cuvry ) and we just laugh it up cuz most of them can't hang .... military town for ya . most of these guys here are all about show ..... but none the less on with my story . this kid bought a 06 R1 never riden a sports bike before ( the ppl as the local shop talk about me cuz there like damn this kid can ride his 500 no joke dont down him till you ride with him ) he's like yea yea bla bla i ca n smoke him and what not . i had been trying to get him out with my group for 2 weeks .. i go to NC to vist my mom come back .. the kids dead    he was going down one of the main streets he in Killeen,TX  pops it up ( no gear on no helment no nothing ) messup some how hits his head on the curb and gets taken to the HP and is  pronoiced dead an hour after he gets there ...... so to the guy moving up .. please keep the wheels on the pavment tell you know that bike back to front !

Nothing wrong with getting a bigger bike, but please KNOW YOUR LIMITS AND THE BIKE'S LIMIT

You guys are all getting a little defensive aren't you? I mean, come on the GS is slow and isn't that sexy. Yes I can keep up with faster bikes in twistys, but long straights and cruising at tripple digits aren't the GS's strong points. I'm just too broke to move up and the GS hasn't let me down so I don't mind hanging on to her for a little while longer.

my group consists of an 02 busa,yamaha R6,Kawasaki ninga 500,yamaha vulcan 750,katana 750,honda 1100xx,gsxr 1000, and a ninga 650r....... and i have no trouble keepin up cause of my modded bike.
