MI Track Days

Anyone been to a Track Day in Michigan or surrounding states.  I found http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/ and they have two tracks in Michigan that they conduct track days on.  Gingerman Raceway and Grattan Raceway.  Their prices are around $150 for one day...

Also, can you run street tires on the track, or do you have to get slicks of some sort.

you can run DOT tires as long as the tread is good, ive been to gratten, nice place... froze my a$$ off there playin support crew.

Cool, thanks for the info.  I'm thinking about going to the 30th of September track day at Gingerman, Unfortunatly Gratton is done with novice stuff for the year...
