I nearly dumped the bike when i grabbed the front brake when i was doing a u turn (on concrete) in front of fry's Electronics - burbank . I was barely moving i was pushing the bike while sitting on it but yet I screwd up.

She was riding EX250 (ninja) and I smiled at her and prepared to take off and I accidently hit the front brake. I nearly freaking dropped the bike. I was able to bring it back up from almost 1/3 way down..

That would have been embarassing..

Oh yeah Carb cleaner stinks. I put some into the tank today the damn thing stinks, but the bike is running better though :)

Don't you hate that

It's bad for me when I'm riding down the main street of where I live.  There's always stunners to look at, but I guess the road is more important.

What kind of Carb Cleaner do you use?  How much per tank?  I been thinking of using some in my '96.

I got the generic GumOut Fuel Injection / Carb cleaner (it was 2 bucks at my local autozone). I wanted to get the more expensive Techron Carb/Injector cleaner but they were out. The techron stuff is good stuff.

Anyway you check the bottle if it says that it treats say 20 gallons with one bottle. You put in approximately what's needed for a tank of your size. For my 5.0 gallon tank I put in about 1/4 (well a bit more than 1/4 of the bottle) into the tank and then filled her up with gas. The rest of the bottle I was planning to use as I gained the miles, but then I decided to put them into my car. I know that little "burp" i have on the focus seems to have gone for now. The dealer will look at it if it comes back later on.

You do bring up an important question..

how many of us check out the ppl in cages as we go past them? I just wonder. Sometimes I do, and i must stop cause it can be distracting sometimes. Dont worry vanessa does the same .. she started it (a bored passenger can come up with a lot of clever ways to stay fresh).

I always turn my head when I notice an exhaust, blow-off valve, or even better, when I can hear a turbo..

Admit it man, you were trying to do a stoppie and it went bad.  :P

Yes, I always check out the people around me. Mostly its a survival instinct. I want to see where there attention is, the road ahead, if they see me, or are they yaking on a cell phone.
But its also cool to watch pretty young things watch you.  :thumb:

I agree with JamesG.. I do check out the folks beside me... generally to make sure they are not about to run me over!
I have noticed that the little kids LOVE to watch you go on by.

This can be especially interesting while riding at night. Strap a couple of flashlights to the chinbar of your helmet, and start checking out the people in the dark. Guaranteed you'll get some odd looks...be careful!

I use Berryman's B-12 Carb cleaner.  White can with blue and red on the label.  It works very well.  I have an ATV that sat up for a year and a half.  Drained the old gas that was orange in color by now.  Poured in about a third of a can of cleaner and a couple of gallons of fresh fuel.  Cranked her up and let it run for about 15 minutes.  Had to hold the throttle at first to keep it running, but after a couple of minutes, it was idling like new again.  A 16oz. can treats up to 20 gallons and costs $2.88 locally.

Very true. Just yesterday there were two little kids in a car that passed me on the highway.  They were smiling and kept waving till I waved back :thumb:

The female form is quite distracting.

Kids, especially boys age 3-93 always turn and watch as my bike goes by. 1 in 5 will do a 'give it hell!' twist and I'll oblige.

I LOVE the smile and usually a hop or two kids will do when you turn the loud grip for them.

Their moms look in disgust but usually a wry grin too ;)

I know they like it. My wife does.

So, did you get her number ?
