I have been rebuilding my 1989 GS500 from the ground up. I installed the GSXR rear shock with res and it hooked up perfectly with NO cutting or grinding of any kind. I just want to make sure that I cross reference with all of you. I'm presuming that since in hooked right in and feels beautiful I should be ok right? I am of the opinion that if I don't need to slice and dice anything that I shouldn't. Just checking. By the way, stripping everything off of your bike and getting virtually everything powdercoated is a beautiful thing. Thanks! :thumb:

Srinath,
I the the all knowing BS'er of everything GS didn't like the AL link.....it's not as strong as steel....and lighter....
want some 16 inch tires for your bike????
want Iain's money to support my butt in kens shop

What...Its fine...I just prefer the steel. I haven't used the aluminium for any of its benifits. The steel needs a little grinding...Well grinding metal is too much fun.
Cool.
