Moving to NOLA

So after Katrina my GPA dropped and I was put on academic dismissal from the Univ. of South Alabama. Spring 06 I went to a community college in Mobile, AL.  I then find out USA dropped my major w/o any announcement so I had enuff w/ them. I started applying to schools back home in New Orleans and low and behold I GOT IN! I'm starting next week at the University of New Orleans now I'm doing a frantic move to NOLA back into my parents place Its the only choice I've got right now, later on I'll find a place, (stuff in NOLA is uber expensive post Katrina.) Any other riders in NOLA???

Glad to hear that you got in but it does suck that USA dropped your major like that.  Moving back with the 'rents always sucks but sometimes you just have to do what will work.  Good luck with school.

Exellent. We'll have a grand time. I'll put a pork loin on the smoker with some corn on the cob, vegetables and a large, fresh, crisp, green salad with some richly buttered garlic french bread.
And of course...........some refreshing ice cold beer to wash it down. Come to think of it........
might better bring a sleeping bag too! Hahahahahahahhaha.
