I use a bit of thick plastic stuff that is in the shape of a motorbike - got it free from a bike show

When I park on gravel or dirt I use a rock or piece of wood.  When I park on pavement I don't use anything.  I know I should, but I'm lazy.  It sinks in a bit, but not enough to make it unstable.  I do feel bad when walking through my work's freshly paved parking lot and seeing a nice big hole in every other spot

my stealership has these things littering there parking lot. so when i picked up our bike from a dealer 4 hours away, i used the dealer's ramp in town to get one of them off the truck. while i was there i helped myself to 2 of those high speed plate things, a nice shinny metal one and a blue one.  an eye for an eye i guess

i use a concrete block at home since i park in grass.  All other occations crushed beer can that i keep under the seat.  the bonus is that when it falls out i have to make another, which mean i get to have a cold one
