So I'm looking to get a helmet for my little guy. He's 5 and he's dying to go for a ride with me on the GS, but the rule is no helmet, no ride. Even though we'll only be going around our neighborhood, he needs a helmet. Anyone know of any screaming deals on the web on youth helmets? I visited 2 dealerships this morning but the smallest size they had was a youth medium, which was just a bit too big.

Thanks!
No bike. =(

motorcycle dealerships aren't going to carry youth helmits unless you're in a VERY race oriented area that isn't in California.

Here's a few you can get online:

Don't dismiss MX helmets...they're a lot more abundant, cheaper, and many are stronger than road helmets (MX helmets are designed with hitting the ground frequently in mind).

Cool. Thanks Mac. I haven't dismissed MX helmets at all. In fact, that's what we were looking at this morning. They just didn't have one small enough. An MX is better anyway, since he wants a dirt bike. I told him he needs to learn to ride a regular bike first.

Yeah, I know. But I want him to be able to control a bike under his own power before he moves up to something with an engine. But I'm sure he'd agree with you. When we went looking for helmets today, he had his eye on a little Yamaha 50.
