rain after a dry spell sucks

so i was driving my civik home tonight
had not rained for a while
started sprinkling
took the last SC off ramp(E106/I-85) to visit friend
going....30ish
right hander....and i'm looking out the drivers window at the road in front of me....as i realize....I AM SLIDING SIDEWAYS....WTF...WHY....DAMN
started to flat track a bit and ended up with front wheels in ditch

best guess is a semi overturned and dumped diesel all over the road
and the rain hadn't washed it off yet
and just like a bike wreck...time slows down as you record it in your brain in SLO-MOTION.....

i can't remember my last two bike wrecks......both involved a bus ride and a week in H-pital

last one i woke up staring at a bright white light....ER
and the doc said....hey your awake, we're gunna cut your leathers off

I highsided at about 100 MPH(5thgear...10000-11000 RPM) 2.5 yrs ago at VIR

I remember lowsiding in the rain T-2 Roebling Road
I remember bouncing off the tire wall in T-8 RR

there was fresh dirt down hill from the ramp
....like someone replaced some contaminated dirt.......
and it is a tight corner for the trucks with lots of skid marks

it impressed me.....didn't see it coming at all
almost saved it also......

I did a sideways slide in my Civic. I ended up smacking a curb and screwing over my entire right rear suspension.
