I am apprehensive to advise someone to rebuild the caliper. It may be a good idea to have a shop look at them.

Seal rebuild kits can be ordered. There are only 2 bolts that hold the caliper halves together but they are a pain to break free. A torque wrench is good to have when reassembling.
Common sense in not very common.

im to cheap oh well i will get the to do it when they service it next

Yeah...if what you say is true (who the hell knows anymore with you) your front brake seems to have some issues.  I'd take it into the shop and have them make sure everything is kosher.

...or just take the caliper apart and grease the slides. That'll help tremendously.     O0

If you have no clue....you better not touch the brake system
screwing with it, with fuked up sh!t tools, will probably make it worse

i thought you had a new ( abused ) but NEW bike....not under the warranty????

or  do  all the dealers know you beat the crap out of it and wont touch it....

I usually let threads like this pass, but I feel compelled to chime in here.

These are your FREAKING BRAKES!!  They are THE device used to keep your @$$ off the asphault, and out of people's trunks.

Take off the caliper, bring it to a shop, and pay the bill to have them rebuilt.   :thumb:

shop really hates me and they are so shaZam! i trust my self more then them so far they have

overfilled my oil
put way to much oil on my k&n air filter so much it dripped out my are box out let
striped the screws on the front of my fairing
given me my bike back with 10/10 of the engine mounts loose
given it back to me with loose handbars
given it back to me with the idle set at 2,500 rpm
given it back to me with blowen gaskets and didnt tell me
lied to me and been total pricks to me

so do you see why i dont really want to give it to them to stuff up again

so could i jsut spray the shaZam! out of them with WD40?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

ok i just went for a hoon the bike seems to handle better and have abit more power but the brakes are diffrent i have to pull the leaver in more to get the same stoping power would this be because there is air in the front brake or because the fluid i put in was crap it looked like apple juice or pee

dude - if i were you, i'd read up on bleeding brakes - sounds like you could now have air in your lines.....

pump, pump, pump 3rd time keep pressure slightly on whilst opening bleed valve.... keep doing this until there's no air and your leaver is pretty solid...

let it sit for 30mins and re-check..

I was referring to the three that you replace when you add case guards. I removed 3 bolts, replaced them with three longer bolts that hold the case guards on. They were the only ones I saw, I didn't go looking for more. Either way.. 3 or 5.. it's not ten.
