I really like this 1-piece suit but I'm wondering what do you all think?

do you have any recommendations for something that might be BETTER for about the same price. I can get this for around $450 shipped.

parts411.com also has this suit for $470, but I'm not sure of the AGV quality.

Teknic Lightning 1-piece suit - $399 + shipping

I'll stand by Teknic quality, as I have unfortunately crash tested their gear. It stood up extremely well and is still in my motorcycling wardrobe today.

Read this thread about 2-poece and 1-piece leathers to get an idea of what you might actually be better off with

its a sweet deal; I just thought I'd throw it out for everybody, but I think the motoGP suit is a bit flashy for me....
i should mention it's leather and not kangaroo.

I couldnt find the site before but the fieldsheer revo suit can be had for $380.

That's a great deal on the MotoGP suit. I'm sure they'll sell a lot of them for that price.

Can you try on the suit before ordering it?  I thought I was a 42 given the experience I had with other gear.  Then I tried on a 1-piece made by another manufacturer, and it was ridiculously too big for me.  If you can't try it on locally, does the online shop have a size exchange policy?  As Alpha mentioned, the Teknic suits are pretty good, and newenough will exchange sizes if required.

I'm pretty sure most online suppliers will exchange sizes if needed, but each policy is different.

you'll have to ask the company you buy from. some allow you to take it out of the wrapper, try it on, and then exchange it; and many more say once you take it out of the plastic- it's yours. check up on newenough's policy. I've ordered from them a few times & I like them a lot, but I think I recall reading on the recipt that once an item is take out of the plastic or the tags are taken off it cant be returned... I could be wrong though. it's definitly worth checking.

FYI most online purchases are pretty cut & dry, but it's in the exchanges with online companies that I've heard the horror stories. do your best to find the correct size BEFORE you make the online purchase. keep in mind though that manufacturers' sizes run slightly different. I remember just poking around online & finding that I would be a 42 in Technic, but a 40 in (I think) fieldsheer. Big difference if the suit is susposed to be your second skin.

If you can fina a shop that sells the gear definitly take the time to go find the right size. check the manufacturers' websites for distributors near you. I checked fieldsheer's distributors & found one 35 miles away from me. I've heard of the place before & how it's pretty expensive; but it doesnt hurt to go try it on and then make the buy online.

White is pretty.

Too bad my pink and white jacket is now a pink and brownish-grey jacket.
