I think you could clip the hose to the chin-bar on your helmet........

The water is going to be warm about 30 minutes into it...

Maybe...  Put it in your tank bag under some clothes or something...  With ice in it...   :dunno_white:

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Yes, it's true.  I can't figure out how to fill the bag thingy and then stick it in the "camelback".  Then I tried to put the bag in the camelback empty, then fill it and I could only get about half a glass of water.  I'm having issues.

P.S.  Yes, my bag is the right size for the camelback thing.

More pressure?

Inflate it first?

Fill it with beer and shake it up?

I have no f'in clue......

There is no try, only do.

I got it.  I put my angry face on and jammed it.  Walah.

Did anyone find a way to keep it mounted near your mouth? Or do you just let it dangle and take your left hand off the bars to put it in your mouth when ever you want a sip? If you let it dangle does it fly around on the highway?

  If he could do those first two, can you say 'contortionist?'

On mine (I cannot remember the brand) the bag has a threaded connection where the hose attaches to the bag.  Take off the hose, fill the bag, then screw the hose back on.  Mine does not have the insulated cover with straps -- it's just a bare bag and hose with valve.  It would fit easily in my tank bag.  Does the bite valve come off on the end of the hose?  That may be the ticket for filling.

I've never used it while riding, only while backpacking.  I'll have to try it next summer on the bike.

I'd say don't bother, I had one with me on the trip I did to Canada this summer and the whole drinking-as-you-ride thing just didn't work for me.  Sticking that thing in the helmet and then biting to get the water flowing is very uncomfortable.  However it was nice to have for drinking at gas stations and such.  The hose does tend to fly around a bit, but not too bad.  Surprisingly the water doesn't warm up that fast either.
