I just got back from my first motorcyle poker run.  We went down some really nice roads for about a 75 mile ride total.  I still stink at poker though   .  Lots of Harleys, some goldwings, two GSs (mine included ) and about three or four custom trikes.  the police were great too, we didn't have to stop once and we were cruising pretty cood for being a giant group of mostly really loud Harleys.  there were about 250 riders total in three groups and all the proceeds from the run are going too the families of the security guard and the officer that were killed by Morva.  Here are some pics I snapped, pardon the quality they are with my cell phone.

Here is the seas of harleys that i snapped at the fourth check point.

poor lonely GS, just sitting there    All the other riders were really cool though :thumb: Look in the background and that is the only trike that was in our group, it has a honda front end, harley tank, custom chassy, keg seat (that was my favorite thing ) and a VW bug motor and rear parts.  it was really interesting to look at closly.

pulling out of the that checkpoint i spotted something familiar looking, in fact It was a GS so of course i queued up in the long line of bikes right behind the other GS     When we got to the end point I parked right next to the other gs and took a pic of the line of bikes.

This was the first really large group ride that i have been on and it was great.  Now all i have to do is keep my ears open for another one.  And i let the guy on the GS know about the site, cause he hadn't ever heard of it  :o.  I'm out to grab a cold one and have a good time, man what a ride

They look like Bikemaster clubman bars, Should be able to get them at most cycle shops for roughly $17.

Thats it.  They don't exactly fit without modification because they don't clear the fairings.  I have friends with welding stuff and i bent them to clear everything.  Now they are bent again though cause it sank into the asphalt and fell over, forgot my beer can that day

PS : anyone know if the drag style bars will clear the fairings and tank without modification?
