I've got a few pairs of Draggin jeans, I'll tell you now, the kevlar does absolutely nothing to help monkey butt or ventilation. The seat is just too thin, and the shape is too thin width wise to eliminate it. All it does it make your arse hot in summer, but does keep things warmer in winter, its like having a blanket in your pants  .

Not sure how to care for kevlar in clothing, but I do have a pair of these, great for when I have to wear dress pants to work or if I feel like wearing jeans instead of my riding pants.

I have some riding overpants, that sip up the sides. It's easy and fast to put on and take off over dress clothes, and has armor in the right places. I would recomend something like that, where it sounds like you have to dress well for your job. You can also get one piece oversuits, that would be easy to put on over a suit if need be. I'm thinking about getting something like that for the winter.

I went down at 55mph in Icon's draggin jeans counterpart, and 100% of my road rash is attributed to them.  I'll still wear them (not the same ones I crashed in) on low speed trips, as they were better than regular jeans, but I have very little confidence in them... I wear leather mostly.  My crash report is posted somewhere on the board.

Overpants also tend to smooth your dress pants out if it's wrinkled.  The humidity build up and the heat are just like iron.  It works for my shirt always - put the liner in on a hot day and ride for about half an hour, smooth like ironed!

Didn't I read that the Icon jeans are supposed to have steel woven into fabric, instead of Kevlar?

If you read the label it is something like .05%. I'd rather have a higher percentage of Kevlar than that piddly little number.

Give us some pics Wrescent!  I'm very close to ordering a pair for myself but I think they might be too baggy and look dumb with a fitted jacket.
