Ok need a few oppions.  Here is my stock gsxr, I wanted to change the color of the R on the front fairing.

I changed it to blue

But I'm not really happy with it.  It looks to ummm blended? I guess.  What do you think?   Should I leave it blue?  Put it back to red?  Or go with white?  I'm going to match my rim tape to the R.

Personally, I like the red. It adds contrast and distinguishes the logo. If anything you could remove it all together.

I think I would either remove it completely (if possible) or make it the same silver color as the "GSX" lettering.

try the lighter blue on the tank/tail. that would tie it together with the colors/stripes on the rest of the bike. Although I prefer red. white at least, would look better than the blue. matching the gsx grey would look good too.

I don't think the bottom picture is his bike.  Just someone else's.  Different exhaust on the bike, which I don't remember him talking about his newly purchased exhaust.

I could be wrong tho.

Nope I took it off, got a tail tidy comming  :thumb:
What do you guys think if I left the R red and got my rims powder coated to match the R?

I never thought of silver to match the GSX. . . will look into that also :icon_mrgreen:  But what color rim tape would I use?

White/silver on the black rims.

Or, if you want that raised white lettering "look", put three 2"x 3/8" strips on the rim.

the blue looks a little too light in the first one, most likely because of the sun

Thanks for the response guys.  I have an extra R in silver that will match the GSX part will put that on to see what it looks like.  If I don't like I can always take it off and put another color on.  To match the tank stripe would be hard it's not one solid color but fades to carolina blue to dark blue.

I keep comming back to white, not sure I can't picture it in my head but I think it would look nice. :dunno_white:

I do know that I don't really like the blue thats on there now at least not to much, maybe it will grow on me.

Ahh for the race rails, I saw those before, but I'm just going with motovation no cut frame sliders instead.

Funny thing is I asked my wife if she wanted anything done to her bike and her reply was
"No, just give me the money instead"

I see you like to use your Joe Rocket Manta Tank Bag with your Chrysler Pacifica instead of your bike.

You could use a yellow or other bright color to outline the blue, i left the black outline as well. Ex:
