How importen is it to chang the brake fluid every 2 year? Oct my bike will be 2 year old, but the bike only has 4700 mile on it and the bake fuid look clean still. Im planning to do the 4000 mile Maintence and also change the spark plugs but I feel the brake fuid dosen't need to be change.

Hi there,
The brake fluid change is important because old fluid tends to attract water over time, which can cause several problems.
One problem is that the water can corrode the caliper piston and other internal parts in the caliper and master cylinder, causing binding and corrosion, and also water in the fluid can help cause a spongy feel at the lever.
Changing the fluid is easy and straighforward, and worth the $4 for a bottle of new fluid.
Your brakes will feel better, too.
Good luck,
