first off i would like to say hi..to all..just got myself a 94 gs..but its not in prime condition..so i was reading through the forums and came across some threads about cleaning out the oil strain, and i decided to do so, got myself a manual and did as directed..everything was going smooth until i got to the strainer itself..it has three screws holding it in place, and i got two out..but then one was stuck, and unfortunitly i stripped it..anyone have any suggestions? its two small to put vice grips around it, now im out of ideas..

Are you talking about the oil filter? If so, did you strip the outside of the nut or the stud itself? Most likely it's the nut. If the filter cover is still in place, put the other two nuts back on and snug them up to take the tension off of the stuck nut. Try to put a small pair of vice grips on there and go slowly as the studs break easilly. You could grind two flats on the nut to make it easier to grab with the vice grips, just be carefull not to grind all the wy through and into the stud.

Also wipe all the oil and road grime off and spray it with brake cleaner to get a better grip with the vice grips.
good luck

no not the oil filter..wut im talking about is actually in the oil pan..its called the oil strainer, or the book calls is (sump) i think

Oh, I get it now. I think you can just wipe off the screen while it's in place. Don't bother taking it off unless you really need to. Are they regular hex head bolts? If so you could try cutting a slot across the head and using a large flathead screwdriver. If you break the head clean off though, you'll have to drill it out with a left had drill bit. So be carefull.
