Hi All,

The other night I rode by myself north on El Camino from San Mateo at about 10pm and randomly found a place to eat dinner. I ended up at a sushi bar in San Bruno, met some people, and had a great time.

Based on the fun of this experience, I would like to do the same thing but check out other places on El Camino. Does anyone know of a cool place to eat on or near El Camino, where it is kind of easy to meet people, and is preferably open late? Something popular with the 20 something crowd would be nice since I'm in my 20s :)

Thanks!

Sounds like fun! I don't know any places (I'm neither cool, nor am I in my 20's ). I used to live above San Bruno (in the hills above Pacifica). I didn't ride yet then, or I'd probably be doing the same thang you're doing.  :thumb:

I'll ask some friends I have in the area if they know of places that fit this bill!  :icon_mrgreen:

What no *$'s?

Does it have to be on El Camino, or just off El Camino?  I was going to suggest the Q in Redwood City.  Open all night dinner places...the only one I can think of is the Denny's in Palo Alto, on El Camino.

The Q has billiards tables and some great drinks.  The Cider is to die for!

It's only 10 minutes from where I work!  :icon_mrgreen: But I can't go if I'm riding...

Cuz the strongest thing we drink when we're riding is root beer!  :icon_lol:
