Adjustable clutch levers for GS?

Hey guys, from the topics I've searched, it looks like there are no adjustable levers (i.e. CRG or Pazzo) made for the GS500?  Is it true?

However, Pazzo just released clutch and brake levers for the SV and am wondering if they are interchangeable.

Are there any mods to reduce clutch lever distance from the bars as my gf has small hands?

I think I remember somebody posting a picture where they JB Welded a nut or some small piece of metal on the back side of the clutch lever, which works a stopper for the extended position of the clutch. I assume you'd need to readjust clutch cable.

I haven't been able to find any either.  My left hand often cramps in traffic--when I'm shifting the most.  A friend of mine showed me how to adjust a dial on the clutch lever to bring the tension point "closer" to the bar, but it's not as satisfying as the adjustable brake lever.

I've done a bit of looking on this side of the pond & haven't been able to find anything. The trouble I have is on a big ride after about 300k's my hand starts aching.

Slackening off the cable and fixing a spacer of some sort between the lever and pivot will allow the lever nearer the grip but....the lever has to move a certain amount to pull the cable and allow the clutch to fully dissengage and in addition there must be some freeplay in the cable. If its too near the grip to start with it may not be able to travel enough before it hits the grip to enable proper operation and it will drag and make gear selection difficult.

Oh  :o  Thanks--I'd better go change that.

The SV levers will not fit the GS mount correctly. Just replace the whole assembly with one from a SV. Not sure if there is a difference in the nakid and the faired -S with respect to the mirror mount. A GSXR will work but they will not have a mirror mount, if that is needed. I use GSXR lever assemblies on my race bikes. The cable parallels the bar more as compaired to the GS that angles away from the bar.
Common sense in not very common.
