Well I got 160 miles today before I had to hit the reserve on my 95. I think the windscreen really helps gas milage. Gonna fill up tonight once it cools off a bit more and see what my miles per gallon comes out to be.

Lets do the math:

Windscreen cost ??????????

Increase in MPG with new Windscreen ??????????

How many gallons of gas could you buy for the price of the Windscreen???

How many more miles could you ride if you did not buy the Windscreen???

The look of your GS500 with the new Windscreen?  PRICELESS

Sorry I had to ask??

I just filled up my '03 the other day. Just under 1000 km on it and it worked out to 68.7 mpg. Gotta love that!    Thats keeping it under 5k rpm for the most part. Having the first service done next week at the dealer. About 3 times the mileage of my Jeep.

After break-in you should still get a good deal over 50-52MPG.  I am 225 lbs. without any gear and my '01 model easily get 52MPG even with my constant thrashing of the throttle.

I have it figured that after 2200 miles the savings in gas will pay for the screen.  :thumb:
