can't really charge batteries but it sure can run some LED's.

The blue one is running off A/C from the generator (the smaller 4 pole), and the red one is running off rectified DC. I used a single phase bridge rectifier from a PC power supply.

yeah it's screwing with my day, though, because I keep going out and looking at it instead of actually working on anything...stupid blinking lights...

however it does make me want to set my battery bank back up...I had it set up to where, though it didn't produce much in the way of wattage, it did trickle charge 12v batteries...



I think I have magical LED's or something because everyone that I talk to says this shouldn't work, but it works just fine.

That's actually possible...slightly.  I have a dual shaft motor that I could rig up where the blades would mount to the body, and the afft would have a "fixed" mount.  It's a waste of magnets, though.
