In my local paper there's a classified ad for an '02 SV650 with under 4,000 miles.  They only want $3,500!

Dont listen to this clown ... 01-02 SV S typically sell for 3500. My 01 I sold for 3500 and it lasted exactly a week on the market. My neighbor sold his 01 non S for 3300 and in Dec too.
With me 3 days in someone from here had committed to coming for it, so I had to hold the others on till he did. I dunno what retail or wholesale is, and I definetly think NADA uses a 5K per year average. So you are looking at 4 years ... or 20K. This has 4. Its definetly worth talking to.
Of course print out that NADA thing and drag it along with ya ...
Cool.

what you are going to see is that the sale prices are going to be by Kelly Blue Book.  NADA always has a lower value than KBB.

Plus, the 1st generation SV is so ugly that it could make an onion cry.

I bought my old '03 S for $3,500 but it had like 11,000 miles on it.
