Hey guys, Just curous if you can help. I have a 01 gs500 w/ 36000kms on the clock. Ever since I bought it, at a fast idle speed it seems to have an irregular miss.  The previous owner has bashed out the muffler baffles - could that make it sound like a miss?

Also, (opening a can of worms) can someone tell me the difference between lane filtering and lane splitting? I live in Brisbane, Qld (Australia), and I cant find legal definitions or specific laws to determine if its legal.
