first decent looking electric bike I've seen in a long time.
GS500E with a bunch of cool stuff!

Pretty sweet. 40 miles at 60 mph doesn't sound super awesome though. My commute is only like 7 miles at the moment, but I routinely hit 70 or 80... Also, I'm wary of the actual benefits of electric vehicles. I live in California where most of our power comes from natural gas, so little or no C02 is displaced. Also, when the batteries go dead, they leave behind a bunch of toxic chemicals that aren't always easy to recycle. If someone can work out where to get the power and what to do with the waste, so much the better, but right now they just don't seem worth the inconvenience...

check out that noodle of a rear tire!  Clearly, this thing doesn't pack much torque.

I would still be curious enough to demo one if I ever had the chance.  :thumb:

This is like the first computer. Primitive and super expensive. Theyve got alot of bugs to work out before theyre even worth buying.
