Hey guys, by this time tomorrow I will own a GS500F. The details of the sale are below. Let me know if you think I got a good deal:

Yellow 2004 GS500F

Bike was tuned-up and fluids were changed beginning of the season
Excellent cosmetic condition (according to the owner, but I will know for sure tomorrow)

What do you guys think?

Probably should have found out if it was a good deal before purchasing it  ;), but looks good to me. "Fluids" meaning oil and...brake fluid? Regardless, seems like a good enough deal. Enjoy!

Thanks fellas.

Let me clarify, I know its a good deal because I've been shopping around for some time. I wanted to know if it was a GREAT deal  ;)

Beat my price for a 2001. So, if it is as good a bike as mine....Great Deal.

Haha.

If you were local and the bike was in good shape, I'd take it.

Or it could be the blown engine that you were talking about in your other post. A high milage bike in a short time is baetter than an old bike with the same miles, time hasn't taken it's toll, only the rider  . I'd pay more for an 04 with 20k than a 94 with 20k.....so long as the engine wasn't blown.
just drink it off

That's a great deal.  I paid 4600 for my 04 with 2k miles.

I think it's a great deal, too!

If it's worth it to you, then get it, and welcome to the GS fold!

you would be the only one, an i under stand what your saying. but fact is every one that looked at it wanted one with lower miles and i cant argue with that if i am asking the same price as one with lower miles of the same year or newwers
