Brake cylinder advice...

Yeah, you can move this out of the main area because it is a motorcycle repair question that is not specifically about the GS500, but could apply.  So, I am working on restoring a Nighthawk 650.  The bike has a hydraulic clutch, thus has a clutch cylinder that is similar to the brake cylinder of the GS500.  It has a small plastic viewhole into the cylinder so you can check the level and color of the brake fluid that is in the cylinder.  Unfortunately, this cylinder is leaking and the leak seems to be somewhere around the plastic lens.  Does anyone know what is used to seal those crystals into place?  I'm trying to seal the leak with something so that I don't need to replace the cylinder.  I don't know what type of adhesive or seals would be resistant to brake fluid.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Use some type of bolt or somehting.
One of my neighbors did that ... it did work even when it looked a bit funky.
The brake ones are not available but engine oil ones are like $10. I broke on on my vulcan and swapped it years ago. It swaps out from the outside ... yea you can steal it in 3 seconds flat ... I m sure suzuki ones are removable from inside though.

You are losing me a little on that one, Srinath...  The crystal is in the metal cylinder.  I should be able to unscrew it?  Your comment on stealing it confuses me....  Sorry....
