ok, it seems i made a mistake on chain size a few thousand miles ago, 4k to be persice.

i think, havent convermed yet. that i put on a 530 chain, and not a 520.

other than being heavy, and no other ill affects. what if any problems my i come across? the chain has yet to need to be ajusted and a new one should have been by now. (or so i would think)

if i did i am a total dumb ass :icon_mrgreen:

also looking for a 17 tooth and i think i found one, i do way, to much hwy riding to get away with the 14.
last week i rode to deals gap on that and the bike buzzed me crazy as we were at 95+ the whole way for 5 hours, at nearly 8.5-9k on the tach. way to much to expect the engine to last.

Yeah it's bad for your sprockets...the chain will flop around on them.  Dunno about long term problems.  If you're running steel 520 sprockets and have a good chain you probably won't see much in the way of trouble.
