I've been talking to a few people I don't know well that ride.  Come to find out, the majority of the folks I talked with all played guitar.  I was wondering if there was some correlation to riding and guitar playing deep down in the brain.

I play a little mandolin, but like Mak, haven't been able to devote the time.

Started when I was 16ish... I'm 35. Don't play as much as I used to though. Also play the drums and 'lil piano.
If it comes out of your body you shouldn't be afraid to hold it in your hand! :o

Neat question.  I started playing 18 years ago and my skills plateaued (sp?) about 17 years ago.  I played about 4 boring chords for 20mins last week, it felt good.

Drums were my first love (all I wanted for my 13th birthday was a set of drums, and that's what I got!   :icon_mrgreen:). I played some guitar and piano in college. Now I play with my computer. :P

Over 60%.  I thought I might be on to something.  Very interesting.

Lucky #13 for me.  Mainly blues based rock stuff......Clapton, SRV, ZZ Top.  Now that I don't play in a band anymore, I've been playing a lot of old 12 bar blues stuff.  The joys of getting older.   :)

The blues is my favorite style to play.  Probably cause that's what I'm best at, and it's easy and fun to improv on the solos.  I was lucky enough to get into Classical off the bat.  Never was any good at it, but it's fun to learn.  Always played rock and RnB.  Now I'm working on Bosa Nova/Samba chords and rythems.  Very different from what I'm use to, and I'm having a hard time with it.

I know what you mean about the more technical stuff.  I started playing jazz and some classical in college but it was more work than it should've been so I just stuck to my running pentatonics.

Daniel Son made me want to learn classical.

Been playing guitar for 9 years.  I've got a Guild D40.  Played last night, a bit.  I enjoy playing folk rock.
