anyone know if an 04 head will fit on a 95?  I know the part numbers are different, but anyone have anyluck otherwise?
Ride it like you stole it.  But, then fix it right.

I believe the tach port on the '04 is plugged, and the color will be different.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

the only difference is the tacho because of the oil cooler they changed to a electrical one, i think you can still use the mechanical tacho on it though if you keep it air cooled, but its probly best if you get the oil cooler (if the engine came out of a faired bike,)

Well, i'm putting an 04 head on to a 95 engine.  I guess I can just swap out the plug in the tacho and put the gear drive in.  Hopefully it will work.  I'll find out.  If not I'll find an electronic tach.  Maybe gauges from an sv???
