I'm currently in midst a rejet for my 04'.  I have the carbs off and have opened the jet housing.

My Question is:  Where is the air misture screw that I need to turn three times?  Is it on top of the jet housing?  Cause If It I unscrewed it 3 turns from where it was and it's pretty loose now.  Should I have screwed it inall the way and then screw it back out three turns?

Also,  where is the place wehre you need to pull the caps out?  I see brass flt things below the jet housing?  Are those it?  ARe the air mixture screws in there?  If so what Is the screw I moved on top of the jet housing?  Thanks in advance for your hel\p.

they are on the underside of the carbs, if you have the brass plugs in there you will have to pop them out before you can get to the screws :D
have a look on the wiki it has a blown up pic of the carbs

Ok,  I think I figured out where the air mixture screw is.

Now the questions is, do I turn it out three turns from it's current position or do I screw it all the way in then take it 3 turns out?

all the way in, then 3 turns out, or however many you want
