this guy was nice enough to let me ride his 954rr.....wow. that is waaaaaaaaaaay too much bike for me. definately not used to that much power. i didn't even get out of second gear and it scared the piss out of me cause how fast it was. it's second gear goes faster than my sixth gear on my gs. but i still love my gs more.
01 gs500 stunt bike---SV integrated tail light, renthal bars, 13 up sprocket, engine cage, no plastics except for fender, dented in tank w/grip tape, 12 o'clock bar, enduro headlight, lots of spray paint, too many zip ties and maybe some tape here and there.

  My fiancee rides a 955... and she is a cute little thing (and hardcore rider nonetheless). She'll be on her dad's new busa soon too I'm sure. In all seriousness... Burque? You're the first other NM rider I've come across in here. 505!!

Should give it some time.  I have had my 954 for 4 years now and I love it!!  I bought a GS for some track fun and for my wife to ride.  Yes, the 954's are insane fast, but the torque is addictive.  You would be surprised at how fast you get used to it and then you want more....  Some suspension tweaking and she will carve like a beast too

I have ridden my dads busa, tons of torque and keeps pulling.  Too much power to be fun on the street.  I would rather be working the bike instead of barely using the gas.  Smaller bikes are funner.  Ill keep my 600 for now.

I'm still not sure how much power is enough. When I'm on the 500, I want to be on my EX650. On the ninja, I have a bit more fun (firmly planted bike with nice crisp throttle response), but I tend to exceed those pesky speed limits by a wider margin...

<sarcasm> Yes, Smaller bikes are funner.  The mostest funnerest thing </sarcasm> is feeling comfortable on a bike within your riding ability.

Sorry, I couldn't resist... I'm not an @$$hole I swear, just a smartass that likes doing more funner stuff. No offense.
