I had to take back the A* TZ-1.  And I was wondering I know they make Kangaroo motorcycle suites, but do they just make jackets also?   If you know where could you please post a link.

Thanks
Dave

I don't think they do but i might be wrong. A couple of local brands, Walden Miller & Tiger Angel, might but i wouldn't buy a jacket without trying it on first and Oz sizing is different to yours. Shipping costs may not be worth it anyway. I'll ask around over the weekend & get back.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Nothing really wrong with the A* TZ-1, more like the jacket didn't like my body

Fitment was great in the chest and shoulders, but I have short arms.  What was happening was the back of my helmet was rubbing against the leather making it very hard to turn my head.  I think that might have been caused from the sleeves being to long and me haveing a short neck .  The sleeves kept riding up my arm.

I took it to a alteration shop but they wanted $100 to $150 because of the zipper on the sleeves and the snap on the cuffs.

So I figured I see if I could find someting else to try.  It's really strange all the textile and mesh jackets I have no issues with arm length but on number size if it fits the chest the arms are to long, if it's tight ( really tight in the chest) then the arms fit.

I wear a size 50 and it was snug.  Not tight felt a bit uncomfortable but thats because the jacket was new and not broken in yet ( at least thats what I was told).  The 48 was tight in the chest, but my arms moved freely, but it just felt to tight to me.

Oh yeah and Dainese has issues with big people at least their jackets only go up to a 48 otherwise I would have gotten the Zen in blue

I have the same issues with shirts/etc.. for a short skinny dude, I have relatively broad shoulders/thick neck (used to be muscular.. now it's just a fat neck )

Good luck finding a jacket that fits. I was gonna swap the tires on the GS today, but I studied all morning for the test that I just took (and failed), and now it's way too crappy to be working outside... but I've got all weekend to work on it.

Studing is def more important than fixing a flat on the GS.  I hear ya I used to be muscular then I got really lazy and it all turned into fat oh well.

I'll think of something.

Haha, I had the EXACT same problem. I was all buff during high school, for wrestling.. now I'm a fat out of shape short dude. lol.

Hey, check out http://www.six-gear.com/index2.htm. See if there's anything there you'd be interested in. They're (relatively) local to us, and some guys from GSB put together a group buy, and got a hella good deal on the stuff, and they all seem to like it. (The two piece was like $279, and the 1 piece was like $289, versus the $399 MSRP)

I know they're not exactly the PRETTIEST leathers... but I figure for fairly cheap I could pick up something that looks decent, and fits fairly well, then take it to Fiona's Leathers, and have it tailored to fit me. I figure even after paying for tailoring, I'll have a relatively inexpensive suit that fits WELL, which is the most important part. Let me know what you think, and one weekend maybe we can roadtrip up there and try some stuff on.

Cuz if I get this job that I THINK I'm getting, leathers will be one of my first purchases. If I don't get it... well, I'll have to convince my parents to get me some for Christmas (which will be impossible, since my stepmom wants me to sell my GS... HELL NO!)

Sure we can do that.  But about Fiona I emailed her twice and called her once but she never got back to me.   :dunno_white:  We can always find another leather tailor if she's still not running her buisness.
