Anyone still playing SWG??

The nerd in me is being curious.  I stopped playing about a year and a half ago because all my professions got nerfed real bad and I hadn't gotten any of the expansions so I didn't have all the space options and such.  Just wondering if there is anyone who still plays cause if it has gotten better and isn't impossible to do anything anymore then i might pick up the box set and try it out again.

i quit playing about about 2 years ago, its too much of a grind.... i made master weapons smith... completely unfufilling....

then i decided to go quit all that.. then go creature handler... but nobody meantioned to me that it was (after a nerf) the weakest combat profession... so i said "f this stuff" and cancelled my account

Didn't they totally rework the game mechnics a year ago or so?  Computer Gaming World really tore them a new one for not only pissing off longtime players but releasing a sub-par product that new players wouldn't have much interest in.  There are a lot of really good MMOs these days, SWG is not one of them.

yeah I was a master fencer / master creature handler / some medic to heal myself and pets.  Then all my profs gor nerfed and i couldn't do crap anymore so i stoped.  I was just wondering if someone relized they were stupid and made it better lol, doesn't sound like it.  They also made jedi a profession and not something that you had to work you ass off for so i am sure anyone who still does play is always surrounded by jackholes who have jedi characters.....

swg ? sounds kinda like .. DAoC (Dark age of camlot)they have a new one coming out soon !!! thats the only one i've ever did a p2p  on .. i had those .. there ghey .. i pay 40 bucks for the game then  have to pay another 13 bucks a month to play ..........

Never played SWG, but I do tend to log into a similar game every now and then called GuildWars. War Rock is a pretty damn good game for being free, I had tried it a few months ago during one of their Beta applications. Good to see it's still free.

America's Army is another good war sim: www.americasarmy.com, also 100% free. You can work your way up through the rankings, and get training in all sorts of machines/guns... or just go kill people.
