I want *cough* need :icon_razz: a cruzier bike. I' ve been reading all kinds of reviews and shoot-outs and I've really narrowed it down to the S83. (intruder 1400 basicly) and It seems kinda wimpy on power. maybe because its a 6valve SOHC?? Only infor I could find was 52bhp @ 75ft/lbs. Does anyone know the credibility of these dyno numbers? I mean a 1400cc bike is less than what the SV650 can muster. Are there any data bases with other bikes listed? I would like to know what a vulcan 900 puts-out as well as the S50 and v-star 750 and maybe even an older CBR nighthawk 750....mmm 75ft/lbs would be nice to rip off the line once in a while

52bhp sounds extremely low.  Most any engine should be able to produce at least 1 hp/cu. in.  Even the anemic 2.4L engine in my Nissan Frontier manages 0.98.
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:
