As I am riding a 99's GS500 which come's with a clip on style bar, , I am thinking about getting a set of mount for modifing it to the motocross style bar.

my question are, will the cable and wire be long enough for that modify? Where can I get the mounting kit?
A crash is the result of the rider's mistake, so don't blame the bike

A rider should be able to control the bike but not controlled by the bike, becuase on the track you don't want to DNF and on the road you don't want to lose you licence

you can probably get a whole new set of triples from someone on here in trade.  The clip ons are a pretty sought after mod for non-89 GSes.

Ogg: Not spear, caveman.

A look at the part numbers to compair the '89 to '90-02 cables may help to see if they are different.

I have an excellent condition '04 handlebar clamp and upper triple clamp, if needed.

Common sense in not very common.

I swithced from the normal 95 Bars to 89 Clipons w/ no problems with cable length  :thumb:
