Finally I have taken pictures of my baby.  Its too cold to wash her so dont mind the driven look.

So here is my blue beauty.  My first street bike.  She sooo loves to play!

Here's one with the same Suzuki rack and Givi Monolock mounting plate with a E33 case.  I think Bulwark has a different case though and hasn't had to add the braces yet.

If I had to do it again with the Suzuki rack I think I'd add the bracing under the seat and do it before the frame member where the rack mounts started cracking like mine did.  Make a couple pieces to reach forward from where the rack bolts on to the two frame pieces where the seat sets.

Other possibility would be to run the brace backward inside like SW-Motec does.

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Thanks guys and Ill post a pic of the case tomorrow.

I may wash it with a bucket of water as well, hehe.

Ill also think about the braces for the case.  If I start putting anything heavy into it I will for sure.

I'm probably going to be told I'm an idiot, don't know what I'm talking about, crazy, and some totally unrelated derogatory comment for saying this. Anyway, you could take (or not) my tip and clean the whole bike with WD-40 during the winter when it is too cold for water. It works well and gets all of the grime, dirt, tar, water spots, salt, or whatever else (it got this gray, what looked like, over-spray paint off) that shouldn't be on the bike off. Best of all, it leaves the bike looking brand new with a nice shine. The only thing it doesn't work well on is the black plastic. Thus, I use Armor All on that. After I'm done, I go back over it with a clean soft paper towel and wipe the excess oil off.

Thanks.  :thumb:

I use WD-40 (once a year whether he needs it or not) to clean his wheels, and Plexor to clean the rest of him (but only when he's a REEAAAAALLY dirty boy)!  :icon_mrgreen:

The stuff on my seat is a light dusting of snow, haha.  Here in New Brunswick we do get the occassional flake of snow.

In the winter I don't touch my bike with any water.
My theory is that if the salt does not get moisture it won't
corrode the bike.
